Jeroen is an alumnus of Perugia University for Foreign Students. On 25th January at the Quirinale, in the presence of Giorgio Napolitano, President of the Italian Republic he was awarded the Manlio Masi Foundation Prize.
The Manlio Masi Foundation carries out research studies and analyses on the process of internationalisation and exchanges of the Italian economic structure and aims to be a reference point for the Institutions, Associations and single enterprises interested in international trade. The Manlio Masi Prize of ⏠3,000.- is awarded to the best thesis on the subject of âMade in Italy in the context of the new global market and its approach to internationalisation and competitivenessâ.
Jeroenâs thesis, âCompany performance of Italian Industrial Districtsâ compares the results of shoe manufacturers operating within and without the framework of Italian Industrial Districts.
Jeroen was born in 1984, studied at Perugia between 2002-2003 and graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2010. He is currently working in Switzerland for UBS.
